This image continues it’s grasp on my imagination. Whether it’s the news or conversations with my students I’m constantly reminded of it’s relevance.
In the early 80’s the pictures of missing children were printed on the sides of milk cartons as a means of public awareness. Although the application is different, the goal here remains public awareness. Where’s the Love? The contemporary concept of love fails to understand/articulate it’s depth, purpose and gravity. Emotions are as fleeting as a physical exchange. True love at it’s greatest inspires a nuanced recognition of self and soul worth. A sense of deep rooted commitment to the opportunity of every day. Where’s the Love? We can’t find it if we don’t know what we’re looking for.
